Ceremonial opening of the power unit No. 1 of the CHP CCGT “GSR Energo”

On July 25, 2014 at 11:30 a.m., the grand opening of the power unit No. 1 of the CHP CCGT GSR Energo with an electric capacity of 110 MW and a thermal capacity of 76.7 Gcal/h took place. Technologically, the CHP CCGT “GSR Energo” is a combined heat and power plant and operates on the basis of the most modern and efficient technology of the combined cycle. The project of CJSC “GSR CHP” in the Kolpinsky district is the largest in terms of private investment in the energy sector in St. Petersburg. CHP CCGT makes a significant contribution to the provision of electricity and heat to the Kolpinsky district of St. Petersburg. The event was attended by the Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Sergeevich Poltavchenko and the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko.
