Championship of professional skills – “Russian Water Cup”

On April 7, 2016, the team of GSR Vodokanal JSC took part in the 7th stage of the Russian Championship of Professional Excellence “Russian Water Cup”, according to the results of which it entered the top ten among the participating teams.

Russian Water Cup is the first Russian championship of professional skills among workers of housing and communal services. Participants performed tasks on connecting a coupling (threaded) gate valve (tie-in under pressure) and inserting a flanged gate valve into a steel pipeline. The speed and quality of the work performed were evaluated, in case of errors, penalty points were awarded. The competitions were held in a friendly atmosphere, excitement and excitement overwhelmed the participants, unexpected splashes of water that fell on the fans added a bright mood to the competition.
